How many Germans or Americans know about the genocide perpetrated on Germany by the US and UK after WWII? I was never taught about it: Are these facts taught in German schools? If not, why not?
“The 8th May 1945 was not a day of liberation for the Germans. On this day, the Allies took away their possessions, homeland and dignity, health and life.
“The 8th May 1945 marks the beginning of the expulsion of over 15 million Germans from their centuries-old settlements east of Oder and Neiße. An estimated 2.5 million Germans – especially women and children – lost their lives in the forcible expulsion from Pomerania, Silesia, East Prussia and Sudetenia.
“The 8th May 1945 marks the beginning of the incarceration of millions of military members, of whom more than a million died – not only in the Soviet Union camps, but also in the Western powers, including in the Rheinwiesen camps.
“The 8th May 1945 stands for the starvation of hundreds of thousands of German civilians despite the flooded food depots of the Allied.
“After the 8th In May 1945, 4.4 million Germans lost their lives due to displacement, captivity and allied food shortages. [Serious estimates of the historian and university professor Hellmut Diwald]
“The 8th May 1945 represents the beginning of the communist takeover of central and eastern Germany and thus the tragic division of Germany and all of Europe.
“Germany is not occupied for the purpose of its liberation, but as a defeated enemy state, the US Army Directive JCS 1067. of April 1945 states unequivocally. What has been sold to the Germans as “liberation” since 1945, the enemy powers did not perceive as an act of liberation, but as the defeat of a political, economic and cultural competitor.“
