I teeter a bit on some of this:
Some people take it too far and say
“I do whatever I want and if you don’t like it, that is your deficit”
BUT
Still, if we attend to what we can control (ourselves) we have much more useful leverage.
AND
That blaming, complaining and instructing others to do better is largely futile.

Interesting that HR memos might be considered as unaware, they are based on law not on relationships, maybe this is where a lot of this dysfunction is coming from.
